Maadhyam - Project

1. SRB Alok Inter College

Our Flagship Education Project at Gangagarh, Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh)
Since 1988, the Trust has been running SRB Alok School in the village of Gangagarh, Bulandshahr district. Over the years, the school has grown into an Inter College, serving the learning needs of children from eight surrounding villages.

Today, the school supports the education of 800+ students from neighboring 8 villages, helping them build strong academic foundations and brighter futures.

  • Supported by Sitaram Bhartia Trust for expansion

  • Well-equipped library open to community members

  • Modern computer lab established with support from Cognizant Foundation

  • Creative learning campus using BALA (Building as Learning Aid) concept

  • Supported by philanthropists and charitable organisations

A Moment of Pride

We were honoured by the visit of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Former President of India, who visited the school and interacted with students and the community.

His visit continues to inspire students and reinforces our commitment to quality education.

2. Maadhyam Experience Centre

Supporting First-Generation Learners in Urban Slums at Kusumpur Pahari, New Delhi
The Maadhyam Experience Centre works with children and youth aged 6–18 years living in the Kusumpur Pahari slum community in New Delhi.

Many of these children come from migrant labour families and are first-generation learners, often lacking educational support at home.

The centre provides academic support, mentorship and opportunities for holistic development.

Impact focus:

  • Support for children of daily-wage labour families
  • Encouraging continued education, especially for girls
  • Building confidence through extracurricular activities
  • Creating a safe learning environment

3. NKMLC Learning Centre

Bridging Education Gaps Through Supplementary Learning at Hilsa, Nalanda (Bihar)

The Neeraj Kumar Memorial Learning Centre (NKMLC) provides after-school education support to children and adolescents in Hilsa, Nalanda.

This project focuses on helping students overcome learning gaps and continue their education with confidence.

Key highlights:

  • Supporting 100+ children and adolescents

  • Supplementary education and homework support

  • Computer classes and library access

  • Extracurricular activities for holistic development
