These projects are at the heart of our mission and continue to transform lives year after year.

1. Sita Ram Bhartia Inter College

Our Flagship Education Project at Gangagarh, Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh)
Since 1988, the Trust has been running Lt. Alok Public School in village Gangagarh, Bulandshahr district. Over the years, the school has grown and now the Trust also runs an Inter College, named Sita Ram Bhartia Inter College, in the same campus serving the learning needs of children especially from SC/ST and under privilleged communities from twelve surrounding villages.

Today, the school supports the education of 900+ students from neighboring 12 villages, helping them build strong academic foundations and brighter futures.

Key highlights:

  • Established with the support from Sitaram Bhartia Charitable Trust and Sitaram Jindal Foundation.

  • Well-equipped library open to community members.

  • Modern computer lab initially established with support from Cognizant Foundation and thereafter expanded considerably with the help from various philanthropists.

  • Creative learning campus using BALA (Building as Learning Aid) concept.

  • School Activities supported by various philanthropists and charitable organisations.

  • Allotted one battalion of 50 cadets for NCC junior wing under FSFS.

A Moment of Pride

We were honoured by the visit of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Former President of India, who visited the school and interacted with students and the community.

His visit continues to inspire students and reinforces our commitment to quality education.

2. Madhyam Learning Centre

Supporting First-Generation Learners in Urban Slums at Kusumpur Pahari, New Delhi
The Maadhyam Learning Centre works with children and youth aged 6–18 years living in the Kusumpur Pahari slum community in New Delhi.

Many of these children come from migrant labour families and are first-generation learners, often lacking educational support at home.

The centre provides academic support, mentorship and opportunities for holistic development.

Impact focus:

  • Support for children of daily-wage labour families
  • Encouraging continued education, especially for girls
  • Building confidence through extracurricular activities
  • Creating a safe learning environment
